Projects

Learn how to create, configure, and manage content projects for organized content automation.

Projects are the organizational backbone of SuperSense. They group related content together and define the rules for how that content is generated and published.

Understanding Projects

A project represents a content initiative, campaign, or topic cluster. Everything related to a specific content goal—keywords, settings, and generated posts—lives within a project.

When to Create Separate Projects

Create separate projects when you need:

ScenarioExample
Different languagesEnglish blog vs. Spanish blog
Different categoriesTech articles vs. Lifestyle content

Project Status

Projects have two status states:

Active

  • Included in auto-posting rotation
  • Keywords available for generation
  • Shows in active project lists

Inactive

  • Excluded from auto-posting
  • Keywords preserved but dormant
  • Useful for pausing campaigns
Inactive projects retain all data. Reactivate anytime to resume content generation.

Settings Inheritance

Projects inherit from global settings but can override any value:

Global Settings
├── Language: English
├── Post Status: Draft
└── Images: 3

Project A (uses global)
├── Language: English ← inherited
├── Post Status: Draft ← inherited
└── Images: 3 ← inherited

Project B (custom settings)
├── Language: Spanish ← overridden
├── Post Status: Publish ← overridden
└── Images: 5 ← overridden

Override Rules

  • Leave a field empty to use the global setting
  • Set a value to override for this project only
  • Project settings never affect global defaults

Best Practices

Naming Conventions

Use clear, descriptive names:

✓ Good✗ Avoid
"Tech Blog - Product Reviews""Project 1"
"Spanish Site - How-To Guides""New Project"
"Q1 2024 SEO Campaign""Test"

Start Small

Begin with one project, master the workflow, then expand:

  1. Create a single test project
  2. Add 10-20 keywords
  3. Generate and review content
  4. Refine settings based on output
  5. Create additional projects as needed

Regular Maintenance

  • Review keyword status weekly
  • Archive completed projects
  • Update templates based on performance
  • Clean up failed or unused keywords

Monitor Performance

Track which projects generate the best content:

  • Engagement metrics
  • SEO performance
  • Content quality scores
  • Publishing success rate
Pro Tip: Create a "Testing" project for experimenting with new templates or settings before applying changes to production projects.
